After 18 years across various parts of the organizational universe, Neel found his calling in designing and building learning experiences, learning games, simulations.

This is translated into Outthinc – a place where we hope to help companies outthinc their learning challenges with a linkage to their business strategy.

In the last five years, we have worked on ‘Learning challenges for Organizations’. It has spanned across levels, Internal and External challenges, Customer facing, Team related and Leadership. We have earned our stripes across different industries and sectors across levels of leadership.

In our Projects and Assignments we work closely with you through the solutioning process.

Stripes Earned – A Sample Of Five Years

A customised session plan for Design Thinking for a global Innovation methodology rollout for an Internet Technology Company – including TTT of their prime facilitators. Outthinc designed the content – including handouts and materials and coached the facilitators to deliver the same across the world.

Conflict Management through psychometric for a Food delivery companies leaders and leadership teams.

A two day immersion on Disruptive Learning. Outthinc (in partnership with Lumosconsulting) for a retail company took 70 people through a Design Thinking Process in order to arrive at their solutions.

A module to onboard Future Managers using real case studies built for a retail company and TTTed to their facilitators.

Feedback module for 3 companies including practice based on custom scenarios. Feedback labs for a Food delivery company.

Problem Solving, Creative Thinking and Decision Making – over 3 weeks for global technology major including job aid toolkits.

Storyboarding for an Analytics team – for an ecommerce major in India.

Strategic Planning workshop for a mid-sized pharma company that enabled the team to go back with concrete plans for the next 1 year with a planned follow up. This was part of a multi consultant engagement.

Manager Hard Skills:
Our flagship program in this space. This 2 day program equips your managers with ‘hard skills’ from number crunching to reading data to finding patterns and makes them ‘business ready’.


The Consulting Kit:
Yes, there are many consulting skill trainers in the market – but we have the inside view on how to make consultants and this kit is intended to get you there. We train you in what goes into consulting skills – Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Creative Thinking, Change Management, Storyboarding. We leave you with toolkits, cases and help you through the process. These can be run as individual modules depending on your need.


The Strategy Kit:
If you want to wade into strategic waters, this is for you. Upto 2 days of deep dive into the world of business strategy – and we promise you will come up looking for newer vistas to conquer.


All our programs are hands-on and you will work hard through the session. What we can promise you in our business sessions – is intellectual stimulation, not the usual Apple, Google gyan which everybody knows about. And we customize – to your business - with data - and not just changing the colour of the slides and rearranging them.

With a technical and HR background –and a solid experience across multiple sectors – Neel brings a pragmatic yet personal approach to designing learning experiences that deliver real impact to business. He has worked on innovation core teams driving and facilitating innovation. He has built and delivered learning games, simulations and out of the box learning experiences that make for great learning environments.

Outth!nc Human Potential

This is a difficult area to define, because while issues appear to be common, the methods are different and contextual. Delivery can range from Workshops to Sessions to Multi level engagements to Individual Coaching. One module here has met with significant success.

Building a Culture of Continuous Feedback: This 4 to 8 hour module, takes the team through role plays and tools to train them from the basics to the advanced feedback methods. And does it in a simplistic way. Also included are a few tools to make the feedback process easier. This is one module that has worked its magic at multiple clients. When we have followed this up with a ‘Feedback lab’ – it has resulted in even greater stickiness.

Apart from this, we are certified in a variety of tools – from DISC to LIFO to Hogan to Gallup Strength Finder to EUM to Lego Serious Play to Competency Mapping to Executive Coaching (ACC). We are also in partnership with a few subject matter experts in this space as well who we engage depending on your need.

Design Thinking is a tool that can be used in many ways. We have worked on creating Design Thinking sessions and content and TTTs for global innovation teams and continue to do so.
